clock! is! ticking!

Alright, so I've got a lot to tell you guys. Due to my leaving next week, which you already know about, this week has been INSANE. I have literally not caught a break. Between SAT, packing, getting ahead on homework & projects, I've barely had a second to breathe. I've decided I'm going to take the risk & submit it closer to the due date, because if I'm truthful, I really REALLY need the time. Because my flight is so long (10 hours, then connection, then another 9 hours), I am going to work on my final touches & 2 page spread on my flight. I know it's risky but it's the best I can do with such little time. I've already gotten my wifi for the plane so I'm set. I will take today to start working on my director's commentary script and that way I'll be ready to record soon. I can record this prior to my flight & later put it together in a video while I'm in the air or once I make it to my destination.

#me #soon

I'll also let you guys know that at this point I'm really regretting using Canva. Although it's user friendly & all, I don't have much options to pic from in terms of designs & layout & titles, etc. I've asked many of my peers & a great majority is using Pages & I dont know if it's because I'm viewing it from an outside point of view & not actually using it, but it really looks a lot more free in a sense. I just feel so restricted in Canva, like I can't make my own certain designs. It's too late to do anything about it now, so I'm just expressing my regret through this platform... *sigh*

:/

Like I said in my last post, I’ve really had a hectic week, getting ready for South Africa and all, and the next one is only going to be more hectic…. And not to mention all that I have left to do since I have to submit this by Friday (due to my circumstance). Only I am unlucky enough to get a 2 day extension to a project this big and not be able to make use of it. Just my luck. I’m trying to make it work but really, I’m not the best at time management. Tomorrow I’m planning on completing my table of contents on top of the final review of my cover page, meaning I will need A LOT of concentration, so keep me in your prayers!

Also! I forgot to tell you guys in my last post that I decided on my new title: Wanderlist. Selling line hasn't changed, btw.

Title page almost done!

Hey readers!!! Today, I completed my title page. After a very hectic week and a lot of changes (i mean A LOT) I finally finished it. A lot later than expected... but it's finished. I won't post a picture of it today because tomorrow I want to show it to my peers & get some last opinions to see if I should modify anything. Once I've made those changes, or if I don't have to, then I will show you my final cover page.

Although it is none of the options I had shown you before, I apologize. The image though, still has that human touch, the same scheme of colors, and 'extreme' feel I had mentioned before. The subject is on the right third, therefore attracting the eye of the readers. The cover lines are minimalistic yet enticing and the variety in fonts and sizes of the letters make it attractive, as well. The text isn't overwhelming & distracting, just helpful & an accessory to the cover. I have no other reason for the placement of the title than I loved it. I think it’s interesting, fun, and different than the rest. Can't wait to show you it!!
